  • Right so today is a kinda good news bad news day.
    1. Mum had some tests a while ago, and they all came back ok which is great news.
    2. the rabbit took his meds really well - still stressed but it is getting quicker.

    BUT
My friend is still waiting for test results for her mum
and D head's dad is back in hospital.
And the insurance is unlikely to cover the rabbit - 700 pounds. So far.
And I have spent a lot on the CC :( (clothes, garden, animals) . I can pay it off but there are no extra savings this month.
I needed the clothes - work wardrobe, prepping outside for the animals and the most recent vet fees.
I think probably some of the clothes will go back. That will help. Also mum paid me back for some shopping. Just about being a bit organised.

    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • hopefully the test results will make your mum a bit easier to live with.  She must have been worried.

Pleased the test results are ok.
The vets bills are awful. Hope bunny is ok after all that  👍
I’ve been reading your diary over the last few days....you’ve been in a bit of a rollercoaster to say the least. Well done on the savings. You will get your own place before you know it.
    January spends - £587.58
  • I didn't get much done today at all and tomorrow doesn't look promising! (rain)
The CC is paid - but am awaiting the final bill from the vets.
I am pondering my inspirational quote app's suggestions............

    I am saying nothing.
Just going to go to bed early and get up and do yoga tomorrow.

  • Yesterday was a better day. I got up and got on - it did rain but I even managed a bit in the garden. Tiny progress.
Today not so good. The devastating news the Chadwick Boseman has died has knocked me. I appreciate he was an actor a million miles away from my world and this sounds silly but I truly felt he stood for something, for good. He symbolised hope for me, that things were changing, that things would be better. He made some amazing films. I am just so sad. Also, I love the Marvel films and feel they are a force for good in the world. And they are finished. And today we have one less of those heroes. He was very important to a lot of my students for Black Panther and I loved that he seemed to be so decent and normal - as in he worked hard for success and was so kind.
As well as that Mum told me this morning my sister had said that sometimes my BIL wakes up and doesn't know where he is or what is going on. This confusion lasts for about 15 minutes. My sister sticks to a very rigid routine so as to give him pointers but it doesn't seem to be helping. I am of course worried that something worse is going on. I can't imagine the kind of hell my sister in is in. I can't even offer light relief because of the virus. It is so hard. Even that phrase doesn't cover it.
Just grateful Mum seems to so well and my friend's mum's cancer hasn't spread. currently only in one place.

The world is so bizarre isn't it? Makes no sense.

Today I am going to squash my feelings  down and carry on with stuff.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

I hadn’t heard of Chadwick Boseman but it is very sad nonetheless as he was so young.

I can empathise with your sister as Mr SA is the same and gets confused a lot about where he is and what day it is. Am I right in thinking BIL had a stoke at some stage? If so it could be down to the area of his brain that was affected.

OMG to the vet bill 😱 but so pleased about your mum.

    Take care Buffster xx
