If you book with TUI you can often pay a very low or no deposit. But you will then have to pay two installments as your holiday gets nearer - you will be paying in full well before you go.

Given you are looking at Tui - simply search on their site for holidays. Its far easier to look at them there than ask on here - you will get the details and price and you can filter by destination, holiday type etc. Your budget is high for 1 person. I'd also suggest with your eating habits you may be better off going All Inclusive. You basically eat AI style food - you'll save money on not going out and I suspect will come in well, well under your £1500 budget.

Why restrict yourself to Europe? You can get some great deals in the North African resorts.
  • Does anyone know why the Tui site hasn’t worked since last night???

What....? But someone with travel knowledge will know the straight forward answer.

Anyone with any knowledge wouldn't tend to use TUI.

Any good deals going on with Tui for around end of June/July time? I was thinking somewhere hot with a beach in Europe. I’m going to a tui store sometime this month so wanted some info ahead of it.

I had a budget of about £1000 and then £500 spending money to eat out. This budget is based on 1 person. But if you know anywhere that’ll help me save yet meet my criteria, that’ll be appreciated.

The type of food I’d like to eat out is simple like burgers, chips, milkshakes etc. Maybe the odd fancy restuarant. Not looking for bars and clubs. Some attractions would be nice.

If you are not looking for AI then why not book your holiday yourself. Get your flights, book direct with the airline you choose, then look on booking.com or trivago for hotels. As you are a single traveler I think that would work out cheaper for you. Tui holidays are based on at least two sharing so a single person can be expensive.

Just read another of your posts regarding payment in instalments which suggests you are strapped for cash. When you book flights, payment is immediately, hotels, depends on their terms and conditions, we only use hotels who we can cancel with and don't take payments until you are there. Maybe just pay a bit more and stick with Tui.
  • @frozenbeak You should have no problem finding a holiday for one with a budget of £1500 all in. Been looking for a break for myself too and there are loads of solo companies out there if you don't fancy sitting by the pool on your own (I hate it). Some are quite expensive, you just need to shop around. The only one I tried is Single Parents on Holiday when I went with my kids but they also have very reasonable short breaks. Maybe not enough choice for you but just as an idea if you wanted to look into solo/singles trips. Good luck.
