And this shows the mindset of negative people

You seem to be responding to pasturesnew, but having a snide dig at me with the 'obsessed' remarks.
The OP is like a broken record on the matter. Constantly starting new threads about a single subject on another specific forum. Its borderline trolling & extremely boring. And nothing to about your little rant over bettering yourself. OP does have an unhealthy obsession with it in the same way the Daily Express is obsessed about the weather.
Yes, you can almost predict who will pop up to back up the little anti-HPC rants, well you can predict it more or less spot on TBH because there are only about half a dozen or so posters who feed this sub sub forum. The irony is someone so supposedly motivated to better themselves posting thread after thread about a website "full of losers" that they are obviously obsessed with! Underneath all the self-motivation talk is a real fear that property prices will correct, you can smell the fear in the postings.0 -
I've read the opening post a number of times and I'm struggling to find an example of where he's indulged in 'name calling', 'bullying' or used emotive language?
He's called them negative since they are predicting failures - which is in itself, negative. I don't see the problem with that. If there was a thread predicting who was going to die in 2020 then I would also consider them negative. One could hardly describe them as positive.
I should add that if people want to set up a thread where they predict negative things then fine, crack on as far as I'm concerned. I'm unlikely to read it or be interested in it and I would fully defend their right to do so without criticising them and I probably wouldn't have started this thread complaining about them. Also, whilst they are have cited negative views, that doesn't necessarily make them negative people - maybe somewhat of an assumption.
More importantly however, I wouldn't have thrown spurious claims of 'name calling', 'bullying' or using 'emotive language', to the opening post, where it is quite plain to see that none exists. At best one could argue that it's negative stereotyping but certainly isn't bullying or name calling.
Is it possible that you are being a tiny bit oversensitive?
Wishing for debt laden zombie companies to go bust is a positive IMO, like a breath of fresh air, it is wishing for a return to true capitalism not the central bank supported nonsense we have now, would you rather that they were bailed out somehow, taxpayer maybe? Hopefully Brexit will be the start of more debt zombies, property and retail, going pop.0 -
On a positive note..
We are in the process of selling a building plot and strangely enough
on the very day of the election results received two offers.
So clearly some in the business see the future property market being good.0 -
Your defense of that website speaks volumes:)
To accuse me of trolling and then call me "bitter" because I post about destructive bitter people is about as ironic as you can possibly get:)
There is nothing in my life that I would want to change, if life continues like now until the day I die then I will blessed, if that's your idea of bitterness than I would seriously get back to school and study English language
Show me where ive defended it?
The fact I said "2 wrongs" ie HPC is one of those is infact a criticism of HPC. So the complete opposite. I've have never even been on that site in my life.
What is ironic is you tell me to go back to school to learn English and you spell defence the Yank way. Also you've previously done that stupid cockney/Essex thing of saying 'was' when you really mean 'were'0 -

"you can smell the fear"
You really need to add "lingering smell" because according to you we have been letting off a whiff for two decades now:):)
Calling us losers, oh come on crashy, don't make it so easy for us to punish you with a reply, I am actually going to let that go in the spirit of the festive season and all that. Just returning to my lovely home mate after a Christmas of a lifetime in the Bavarian mountains, how was yours?0 -

"Debt laden zombie companies"
"True capitalism"
Is this a Netflix film or something?0 -

I don’t think its name calling.
I too am interested In the psychology of those who appear to be failing and have noted some characteristics such as inability to adapt due to unwillingness to accept being wrong.
A few other characteristics are - waiting for external help (often negative for others), complaining and taking no action.
My main interest is the psychology of people who are doing well as I want to improve that.
Why is positive/negative name calling as is does sum up fairly well the characteristics of the two groups?
If studying this for my own personal betterment means I’m “obsessed” then Is that name calling?
I Don’t really care but curious why one set of names is ok and another is not.
I don’t see this set of characteristics as a “viewpoint” at all. It’s a mindset, psychology or set of characteristics.
Is calling people who want to better themselves “obsessed” not emotive and bullying?
(I’m ok with being called obsessed with bettering my own life BTW)
Is wishing for destruction of others people’s lives an acceptable viewpoint on here? I guess it is with free speech but surely were allowed to call that out also??
I’m working on my retirement plans, Career and psychology/mindset.
I think that’s positive and I don’t mind being called obsessed about bettering myself.
I'm working on the psychology too. It's not quite as simple as a lower capacity brain, but definitely correlated.0 -
You appear to be saying that you think it’s positive that large numbers of people are going to lose their jobs. Personally I call that a negative, but as I’ve never lost my job I can’t say for certain.
And you just try to add to that list of "what you think will collapse in 2020" the website housepricecrash.com will at last finish because of it's failed message and rhetoric and you will be banned within an hour.
Hundreds if not thousands of Housepricecrash.com prolific cultists who were very popular over a decade ago slowly started putting their hands up and admitting they had called it wrong, and as fast as they reversed their message of a property crash and articulated it reasonably on that website they were banned nearly as quickly.
That website will actively troll every positive property related website in the UK with the message of property will crash whether right or wrong but will never put up with one critical voice on their own site.
They must be called out, Kirsty Allsopp once tried on national TV, bless her, and she was attacked by the most nastiest of people. Please someone, just name one spokesman for that evil website who will justify it's existence and purpose in the media or TV, not one. Yet Martin Lewis you cannot keep him away from the media because he has good and honest product, those guys hide in the shadows and for good reason0 -
