And this shows the mindset of negative people

I agree with the OP that it is quite sad that a group of people on what should be a positive day, the start of a fresh year, are coming up with lists of companies that they think will fail.
It does show their true characters.0 -

I honestly feel at total peace with myself today. I started the New Year with a 10 mile run around my local lake without a hangover as I did not drink last night. I have had a chicken with peppers, onion and leeks in the slow cooker all day, and I am just chilled while planning to make the best year of 2020 as I possibly can no matter what is thrown at me, I will take what I can get.
Then there are others who are just wanting suffering on others, please tell me, what has to be the better mind set?0 -
I don’t think some people want to be helped.
I respect other viewpoints but I can’t see how it’s acceptable to wish Ill on other innocent people.0 -
Is it best to just complain and take no action (negative) with little hope of changing anything?
Or take some positive action to resolve the issue?
So is calling out the OP for being an HPC obsessive positive for trying to resolve the issue or negative for complaining about it?
Or is the OP being negative for complaining about those on HPC?0 -
This whole thread is negative in itself isn't it?As of 24/11/2020
Mort: - £98,200
CCds: - £1,568.18
Loan: - £0
Savings: - £3,500.000 -

Sorry but I’ve got better and more positive things to do. It seems you don’t want to hear about the positive stuff.0 -

That website openly brags about trolling Mumsnet, 118, BBC HYS, Motley Fool and quite often here on MSE . Their message is quite clear, homeowners, property investors, landlords and anyone who has tentacles relating to property are the enemy, homeowners branded bubble loving parasites just because they want to home their family and God forbid sometimes make a profit in the process.
Right now it is a near certainty that they will have members on this thread, members who in large numbers troll various websites predicting doom. The only thing I can be accused in the way of negativity is my calling out of negative people in the economy, housing and life in general, those wanting it are even more on my radar.
And well done you calling out a critic(me) of negative destructive people0 -

Your defense of that website speaks volumes:)
To accuse me of trolling and then call me "bitter" because I post about destructive bitter people is about as ironic as you can possibly get:)
There is nothing in my life that I would want to change, if life continues like now until the day I die then I will blessed, if that's your idea of bitterness than I would seriously get back to school and study English language0 -

By calling them negative you're just seeking "likes", friends, people who will agree with you, so you feel better about your opinion by alienating others with a different viewpoint?
They're not harming you, or anyone.
Why try to bully people with name calling?
He's called them negative since they are predicting failures - which is in itself, negative. I don't see the problem with that. If there was a thread predicting who was going to die in 2020 then I would also consider them negative. One could hardly describe them as positive.
I should add that if people want to set up a thread where they predict negative things then fine, crack on as far as I'm concerned. I'm unlikely to read it or be interested in it and I would fully defend their right to do so without criticising them and I probably wouldn't have started this thread complaining about them. Also, whilst they are have cited negative views, that doesn't necessarily make them negative people - maybe somewhat of an assumption.
More importantly however, I wouldn't have thrown spurious claims of 'name calling', 'bullying' or using 'emotive language', to the opening post, where it is quite plain to see that none exists. At best one could argue that it's negative stereotyping but certainly isn't bullying or name calling.
Is it possible that you are being a tiny bit oversensitive?0
