I was about to start listing everything I have, but I found my list from the last time I did it last year...I definitely used up more than I've crossed off so as I suspected I forgot about the list not long after I wrote it. So I'd rather not spend hours doing that as I don't find it that useful - I know I have a lot to get rid off, I don't need a list to prove that to me haha :rotfl:

I'm going to set myself a more generic target of using up at least 10 items a month (if I name specific items my rebellious brain will instantly not want to use them :D)

Kicked off with using up 3 x samples (2 x cleansers and 1 x facial oil) and 1 x sheet mask. So 4/10 for the month so far.

Count me in for another year of the challenge.

I have not been using using up my stash to any great extent.

I am going to aim low and use up five items this month; even sachets. It will be more important to get back into a routine.

Hello again and welcome to all the Newbies or returning posters!

I hope you had a good Christmas and New Year? We spent Christmas at home then went to Devon and the in-laws for New Year, I never missed 'Real Life' at all! :rotfl:

I have lots of INs to report, but they were far more considered than in previous years, I didn't just buy anything because it was cheap, and tbh I never see the harm in stocking up, just so long as it's not to excess, and I am getting there with that, more work to do though! :p

I think I spent the lowest amount ever in the Boots sale, it was the same old dross as in previous years and so SO boring, just a wall of celebrity-endorsed low-quality carp and Soap & Glory! Most stuff didn't seem worth the money even at half price, I wonder when they'll get the message?! I'm not sure I even bought anything for myself!

I fell off the wagon big time on Boxing Day. The prices were reduced on gift sets and I ordered.

3 minis of Clinique's Happy perfume in three different scents

Lancôme primer and mascara full size (but I got both for roughly the price of the primer)

And the biggest shame of all, the Elizabeth Arden holiday gift bag. Two eyeshadow/blush palletes, a highlighter (that I don't use), four lipsticks, another full size mascara, and two pencils.

    I'm doomed.

But at least I don't buy at the airport duty frees any longer.

Can I make a quick suggestion?

When the post for next month goes up would it be possible to shorten it? The current length uses a lot of bandspace . Maybe reduce the number of links?

UU Lush Not So Secret Santa Bath Bomb - this is nice, but not something I would repurchase probably. Would definitely not purchase at full price. It kind of reminds me of Golden Wonder on a smaller, more citrussy scale perhaps.

Lancome Visionnaire UU and replaced with one from stash as rich enough for this weather but not too tick to annoy my skin.
LE C&P pump on its last pumps. Will be replaced by the mini I took down to the parents to use while there and so is already opened.

    One UU this morning:

Davines Alchemic Shampoo Silver Fox 280ml WPBNA. This was nice but the bottle design gets on my wick. And I don't really see any effects from this purple shampoo. I will look for a different one or perhaps go back to the TIGI one I like.

    Two OUTs today:

    Bleach London Hair Elixir 50ml
Charles Worthington Everyday Gentle Weightless Conditioner 250ml

I've had a sort out of my stash, well slightly, and I'm going them to friends or family members who will use them.
