I am in my fifties and I like to save and get a bargain where I can.
I save coins so I will post here how much I save each day. What discounts I have found eg yellow stickered, % off etc and where from.

Coins I save for a rainy day ;

NSD for 2020 = 5

Comps I have a question if you put all that money in your money box what do you spend? I can only empty my purse of change once a week as I have weekly rations of cash.

I just watch what I spend. I put the odd numbered coins each day, into my savings pots, if I have any

As it was NYD yesterday, I did not venture out so did not spend anything.

Got 1x 5p coin and 1x 10p coin

I had a nsd too. I wanted a gorgeous clock and handbag and coasters (reduced) but Steve talked me out of it yesterday. I'm going to keep a financial diary and am off to find one of my cute unused notebooks.
I put £2 x2 in my moneybox today.

Yesterday I bought 4 Items in the boots half price sale

1 Used points instead of money - Jack wills set was £6 reduced to £3
The other 3 were all half price.
Joules Pen- £8.50 now £4.25
old spice gift set £15 now £7.50
Ted Baker perfume trio £12.50 now £6.25

These are for presents throughout the year.

Also bought some boots had £25 money from OH the Boots were £29 so not too much to add.

Bought some slippers as my ones will wear out soon - Got some Bootie type ones from shoezone were £9.99 now £7.99

No more spending now - But these were good savings

Well done comps. I did this last year and the savings were marvellous. I couldn't this year as I wasn't well but when I did go with my friend it was just to clothes shops and I didn't see anything I liked.

Met my friend yesterday pm. Bought coffee used a loyalty card to gain points.

Bought some socks reduced from £2.50 to a £1 used loyalty card when buying.

Have 1x50p and 1x10p to go into savings pots

Not planning on going out today
