Me again 😂
Just enjoying a quick (measured and fits into my calorie allowance) glass of wine. Sorted out the cleaning cupboards and organised them, took a long walk with OH to the shop to get a few bits, cleaned the microwave now just waiting for the washing up water to cool down to do that, then going to make my breakfast and lunch for tomorrow, get my uniform ready and put a wash in the washing machine ready to go on a delay timer last thing so I can hang it out before work in the morning
oh - and need to water the grass, then have a shower. It’s been more relaxing than it sounds 😂2 -
Well done on the weight loss and great news about the assessment centre. Keep having fun with the kitten.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Morning MSE and thanks holmes for 'stopping by'
Sent off a signed for letter to the garage yesterday as they have not responded to my email, that should arrive today so we shall see what happens with that. Quite happy to invest £60 to do a money claim if they try and fight me on it, but hopefully it won't come to that.
Took advantage of (yet another) spendy day yesterday and ordered a hosepipe on a reel for OH to collect today, sick and tired of fighting with our one every time it comes in and out of the shed, and it was half price, I imagine OH will also give me back some money towards it.
Re-potted and tidied up my strawberry and tomato plants and discovered the reason they don't look healthy is aphids and ants!!!!! So also ordered some stuff to sort that out. Did notice last night that my rose bush has two news buds about to come through, so that was nice. I also picked up a suet block and cage for £1.75 to feed the birds - I'm sure I said I was going to try not to spend so much this month2 -
Hope your OH refunds money.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Morning MSE'rs.
I had thought it was our kitten waking us up pre-5am every morning but as we had to shut him out of our room last night as he was being hyper, and still woke up pre-5am, turns out it's because our curtains are really thinluckily the curtains in SC2's rooms are black out so will swap them over whilst they're not here until I find some nice ones for our room. I have also asked OH to ask the landlord if we can paint our bedroom walls as long as they are magnolia again when we leave.
We had lots of birds trying to get at the suet block in the evening which was nice to see, I may even start trying to work out what the different birds are.
No response from the garage yet, fingers crossed they make some contact either way in the next week or so, so that I can start planning.
Other than that, not much to report. I made a little bit of cleaning sheet for home of little odd jobs that only take about ten minutes and to remind myself to hoover daily now we have the cat, which should then mean less running around doing the little odd jobs at the weekend whilst trying to get the weekend jobs done.
I booked a slot for our tip next weekend, kind of just because I could but I also know I will be able to find plenty to take down as we always seem to have loads of clutter no matter what...! I also booked in my bike for a free check at Halfords tomorrow (could have picked a drier weekend) I bought it from there but assembled it at home, and I can't make the brakes not squeak
So far this morning I have given notice on the dongle I have a monthly contract for, it was originally brought to allow me to do my SE work on my lunch break but I recently found out it's not compatible with my macbook so gave my 30 days notice on that today.
I do hope I get this job that I'm going to the assessment centre for next week, it is mind numbingly boring having nothing to do at work. I have even run out of life admin things to slowly sort out, though I always manage to find new things to do here and there regarding life admin. It's not so bad when it's a busy day with my other work, but quiet days on both front make me tired and frustrated and very, very bored.3 -

Thank you both
Going to spend my quiet times at work this week preparing for it.
No word from the garage as yet.
I finally got around last night to taking up my work trousers, and also made a face mask, too! It wasn't perfect and I will need a few more goes to do it, but it was good to sit down and do something productive.
I'm also pleased to report that another 1.8lbs has come off this weekso very pleased with that.
Just a quick post as I need to catch up on various threads, and then crack on with some work X3
