Hellooo world!
Not much to report hence the lack of posting, stuck to my calorie target every day so far this week and feeling good. Finding it fairly easy to motivate myself to do my little workouts each day, though I may have to adjust one exercise in the one I do again tonight as my shoulder did a loud pop on Monday when I did it, and it's only just feeling normal againI do lots of clicks and pops I have discovered, due to not moving around that much lately.
Monday mornings will be weigh-in day, and once a month I will be taking a progress photo.
I've managed 10k steps most days, more if you count the fact that walking up all of the stairs at work is twice as hard as most walking (the lift is broken).
I am SO looking forward to not working at the weekend, it's been horrible knowing I have to come in and walk up and down stairs all day to get anything or go to the toiletso I am very much looking forward to just partaking in exercise on my own terms at the weekend
We are having home made chilli for dinner tonight, the recipe is already added into MFP so I know the calories in my portion size, all much easier than I seemed to believe it would be. The things we tell ourselves to get out of losing weight, eh2 -
Happy Monday everyone!
Had a sneaky chinese on Saturdaybut stuck to my calorie and exercise targets every day and happy to report this morning a loss of 3.5 lbs
we shook it up a bit yesterday and took a basketball to the sort-of basketball court around the corner (think basketball hoop/one football goal combined) and spent 30 minutes there which burnt over 200 cals, but I have done something to my finger caused by the ball catching it and bending it back
oh well!
We had fish pie last night that I saw on Jamie Oliver's Carry on Cooking thing, which was actually very nice. OH has never had fish pie before so we tweaked it so it wouldn't be too "fishy" (just had cod and prawns) and he liked it, so that was a bonus. Also baked another loaf of bread and I have brought a slice of it with me to work to have with my soup.
I finally made use of the silicone food/freezer bags as well to freeze a portion of chilli, so much more compact to have one of those in the freezer than a tub.
Not much else to report, really. Keeping on top of things health-wise with MFP, and trying to keep day-to-day spends to a minimum1 -

Great weight loss. Well done.
What are the silicon freezer bags? Don't think I've ever seen those. I assume they are washable and reusable.

I saw them whilst watching Jamie Oliver's show mentioned above as he was bulk cooking tomato sauces and used them and I thought they were cool! I imagine you can also write on them in dry wipe and clean them and label them againI will probably get some more at some point, just went with eBay for the price in case they weren't something I liked using
