I've done it! Not at a 4% fee, have applied and been accepted for another card this morning. £9760 requested to money transfer, with a 2.99% fee. I'll probably just pay the 10% fee-free allowance off the mortgage for the moment (c£2800) and sit on the rest for now as a mega-EF. I'm viewing the charge as "buying" the EF (the fee is also interest-free, so no need to pay it off straight away as I had thought) and I consider it a good trade-off for the peace of mind that having the money in the bank to pay my bills (including the credit card!) for a LONG time will bring. It's 0% interest for 24 months

HI SC - Not on paper the wisest decision but I get the temptation. We are considering doing our own version which is to pay up the CC due to be repaid by July - but then save what we would have paid off the others. That would give us a great EF if we ended up needing it but at no extra cost.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
