I put £40 in my car yesterday and it only filled up half the tank. Upset was an understatement!3

Yep, I still had about 70 miles left* so that wasn't even a full tank 😮!
* It said 85 when I left home, and the petrol station is about 3 miles away - why must they try and trick you like that???Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Thanks for the explanation but Sainsbury's are playing silly games with me again because my initial target was 750 points, and the next one is 1500 so I'm guessing I'll have to get 3000 points all in to get the full set of bonus points. Might have to sit and go through Canvass this evening to see if I can rack some more up that way. Oh and I just remembered that I'll be doing a second shop this week so that will get some more I'm sure. I just want all the points because we're going to hopefully use them to pay for some Eurostar tickets next year and then using our roundup pot in Monzo to pay for the accommodation so its almost a "free" trip.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20173
