            But I will say that I don't think there is anything wrong with getting yourself into a good financial situation and then spending more on charity once you are there.2025 decluttering: 5,307 🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅🌟🌟2025 use up challenge: 435🥉🥈🥇💎🏆Big kitchen declutter challenge 139/1502025 decluttering goals I Use up Challenge: 🥉365 🥈750 🥇1,000 💎2,000 🏆 3,000 👑 8,000 I 🥉12 🥈26 🥇52 💎 100 🏆 250 👑 5004

Of course the downside of a sea view is working from home on a sunny day and knowing that everyone outside is having much more fun than you 🙁!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

To be fair, wherever you are, unless the weather is vile or your engulfed by smog, everyone outside is having more fun than you! Even my washing seems to be having a better day than me (I've done lots, it's a good excuse to nip out, but I've run out of lines, even the emergency one in the front garden that annoys the neighbours and is usually reserved for duvets/annoying the neighbours) is currently full).South_coast said:Of course the downside of a sea view is working from home on a sunny day and knowing that everyone outside is having much more fun than you 🙁!7 -
I love that you have a line to annoy the neighbours @greenbee
What do they retaliate with? Moving the BBQ two inches closer?5 -
Ooh, I like the idea of lurking behind my shroud of washing lines, rubbing my hands together and chuckling an evil laugh at annoying the neighbours 😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I know it's childish, but honestly, my next door neighbour complains about everything - she seems to think she's entitled to an opinion about my garden. The other neighbours think it's hilarious, especially her not liking the washing being at the front (my back garden is tiny, and only gets light in the morning, so not great for sheets etc) and offer to lend me theirs. She didn't like it when there was a trampoline, playhouse and climbing frame either. Or that I like wildflowers and let my hedge grow naturally rather than using a set square and spirit level.South_coast said:Ooh, I like the idea of lurking behind my shroud of washing lines, rubbing my hands together and chuckling an evil laugh at annoying the neighbours 😀!
So @killerpeaty - she retaliates by moaning. Although I think she might have stopped that as everyone got VERY cross with her 'I don't care if I get covid' attitude (she complained that they wouldn't come over and see her or invite her in).
Anyway, it gives me a LOT of satisfaction, because, as I said, I'm childish.8 -
I think it's wonderful. Why wouldn't you want to annoy a grumpy bum? If they really annoy you, please get some bright and outrageous underwear to put out.9

No chance of anyone having fun outside today - it's horrid! I've had to shut all the windows tight as the howling gale was so loud it was distracting me 😮!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

It's raining here too, and I've had to shut all the windows. It's also FREEZING COLD. I did at least manage to cut all the grass before the rain arrived.4
