Ooh, well done you, and well done for OP ing the rest! I unthinkingly absorbed the house insurance pot extra back into the budget the other day but now thinking I shouldn't have done!3

It was only thinking that I might free up some money for an OP which forced me to get on and sort the insurance (BF was pouring rum and cokes last night and I was feeling a bit peaky - he can be quite heavy-handed 🤣!)Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

YAY 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!!
Another £30.40 OP'd today, as yesterday's £300 means the balance will be lower when the time to make the 10% payment comes round. The free money is still inching along, will be a challenge to get it to target by the end of the month. I'm only 9p off payout on Prolific though, so that should be a given in the next 8 days 😀

You've just reminded me that I need to start looking at car insurance quotes soon. The last 2 years my renewal quote has actually been the cheapest but we'll see what happens this year. Well done on the overpayments, you'll be MF in no time!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20173

Thanks Ruby, that's what I'm hoping, then it's on to Project Refurb and actually making it a home 😀!

And I've received some skincare products to test, which will earn me £5 when I send them back in 2 weeks 😀
And I've been booked in for my first Covid vaccination 😀
This is shaping up to be a pretty exciting day in the SC household (and that's notwithstanding the fact it's coming from a pretty low baseline) 😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

And I'm just back from my first ever Olio pick-up 😀
We don't have any participating supermarkets round here, so it's random things from individuals' kitchens rather than giant hauls of fruit and veg from food heroes, but I'm very excited about my two cartons of lentils and giant tin of black beans 😀😀😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

This morning I have finally finished the apples from BF's trees last summer! Very impressed with how long they have lasted. This year I will endeavour to make sure I make room in the freezer beforehand so I can rinse even more value out of them 🤣!
Currently sat down for 15 minutes following my Covid jab. The actual injection was over before I realised it had started 👍!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Payday today and I have already spent more in one day than I did in the whole of the preceding month 😮! The combination of Nectar points, Amazon credit and a bizarrely cheap month meant I only spent £114.02 after bills since January payday. £85 at the dentist and £47 on petrol have quickly trumped that 😮😮😮!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
