GCSE results 😮 I don't think mine are even on my CV! It's definitely a "buyer's" market in terms of recruitment at the moment, there is too much supply and not enough demand so they can nitpick as much as they like 😐
I dread to think what my place would be worth. The top floor flat the same as mine went on the market about a year ago for I think about £99,950 and it's now been dropped to £80,000 😮 I'm on the ground floor, which is always cheaper, and I paid £78,500 4 years ago (and that was before I started pulling everything apart in readiness for the refurb) - I've definitely got equity, but only because I've been OP'ing the mortgage!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

In news I have slightly more control over, I've weighed-in a day early this week as I'm at BF's tomorrow morning, and....
I'VE LOST 3LBS!!! (I double-checked!)
Now, I know this is probably water/cycle/bowel movements/likely to go straight back on as I am out for lunch later, but the scales have moved so I'm counting it as a win 😀😀😀!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Well done on the weight loss S_c. Virtually everyone I know has piled on the pounds these past few months, to budge some off is hard work right now!Keeping my fingers crossed on your applications too. You are so close on the mortgage teens.ElmoR xx6

Well done on the weight loss! I weigh daily (it works for me as I start to see the patterns). Yesterday's 50g of ice cream and two beers resulted in a 200g increase. Which obviously they didn't - it'll take a bit longer for them to have an impact, by which time today's increased activity should have negated them slight over-indulgence.
I'm ignoring job hunting today. I've sorted my CV, been active on LI and am waiting for the solicitor to get back about my settlement agreement and the recruiter to get back to confirm there is no issue with the job I've been headhunted for (they're looking at my non-compete, and frankly, if they can work out what it means they're doing better than me...). So pottering in the garden and maybe a bit of house work or cooking or possibly even doing my tax return are on the cards for the rest of the weekend...6 -
I am also ignoring job hunting - eating out is much more fun!!! Not sure the scales will agree though, whoops!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
