VCS Letter Before Claim - EDIT - I WON!!

Well done, another VCS CASE chewed up and spat out.
It is strange the judge said .....
"the judge regarding additional costs - these are permitted, if reasonable, but unfair for companies to state on signage without stating how much these costs would be."
Saying they are permitted is against the Beavis case and POFA2012 ....but right in saying the amounts should be stated.
Which court please, case number and name of Judge. PLEASE
This confirms the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This can go in the Abuse of process thread as the judge can be quoted as saying "unfair for companies to state on signage without stating how much these costs would be."

The parking company haven't paid me as expected, I've received a letter from the court this week stating that payment should have been made by the 4th September.
Do I go back to the court or parking company next? Both are difficult to get hold of/speak to.

Did you ask for costs for unreasonable behaviour?
Have you read this?

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -
Thanks for that - I didn't ask for additional costs for unreasonable behaviour (maybe i should have?) I just wanted to win and get my £255 court costs back which they haven't paid by the agreed date.D_P_Dance said:Did you ask for costs for unreasonable behaviour?

Email a demand that it must be paid within 7 days or else you will pay the court for enforcement and will claim your costs which will be added on , read about it on MCOL to see how to go about it and the additional charges and fees
The email is like an LBA , but for enforcement , it's a warrant of control
I am surprised that you have not googled it or checked on MCOL , easy enough to look it up5 -
As said above ..... you have yet to answer my post of the 21st Aug. ?JACK24 said:The parking company haven't paid me as expected, I've received a letter from the court this week stating that payment should have been made by the 4th September.

Email VCS and tell them you will send the bailiffs in if they fail to pay.
Please now make a real difference - A TASK FOR SEPTEMBER.
The Government is (this month only) consulting about a new statutory code of practice (CoP) and framework to rein in the rogue parking firms. Read and comment on the draft CoP proposal and the enforcement framework consultation, and get everyone you know to do the same.
You will need to register to comment on the CoP and enter an occupation even if you are retired or a homemaker, but otherwise it is easy to navigate, and comment upon each section/subsection individually. You can save comments to edit later and or submit comments once you are happy with them.
https://standardsdevelopment.bsigroup.com/projects/2020-00193#/section
You do not need to register to comment on the enforcement framework which can be found here. It has a link on page 5 to make comments.

At the very least, we say the parking charge level should be £50/£25 or higher level £70/£35, as per Council PCNs in E&W.
And we say the added fake 'debt recovery' costs are just double counting the cost of letters, and MUST GO because that is unfair and illegal.
Please be heard. You can bet the hundreds of PPCs will be commenting. No apologies for repeating this vital 'call for action' to consumers, on every thread this month!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
