I still have a fair craft stash; I make cards, knit, sew, upcycle things, got jewellery making stash and candle making stuff.
I am going to try and make at least one thing a week this year, so my aim is 100 for the year.
Chris
Its lovely to see you back loopychris. Don't worry, I fell off the wagon for several years too (and cannot guarantee I wont again) but we are all friends around here so if we do get tempted then we just need to confess and then start the god intentions allover again.
I cannot wait to see your wonderful creations - you were a real inspiration to me last time xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
I'm off and running declaring 3 makes towards my absolutely insane target (what was I thinking - that works out to 5.5 makes a day with no days off for good behaviour!!!!!):eek::eek:
I've made a card for my Mother In Laws birthday (which for once I absolutely love) - she has totally different taste to me but think I am finally getting better (its taken 20 years) at getting it right. That's used a card blank and envelope, card and paper scraps from my ever growing pile, three stickers from my sticker mountain, three adhesive gems, some ribbon (which will save me keep tripping over it) and some glitter (I have tons of glitter and hardly ever use it!).
I've also completed two pages in my 2020 project Life album (including the title page and month card which I used to spend ages stressing over but took a far more relaxed approach today which seems to be working and hopefully will be more sustainable in order for me to keep it up all year). I started doing PL in 2014 and have yet to complete a full year album! so hopefully this is the year for me.
So my total now stands at 3/2020 :j
At least I'm not on nothing -only another 2017 items to go :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Well one day in and I'm off to a good start. Nothing finished but 3 projects started. One woodwork, 1 needle felting and 1 art. I like to have a number of projects on the go at once. Woodwork is a shed project so at this time of year I can only manage so long before I'm too cold. Felting is a 'lounge to myself' project as the easiest way to find the colour I want is to empty my ikea bag of fibres all over the floor.Zebras rock0

Thank you craftingmad, lovely of you to say I inspired you last time. I'm not going to be so manic in my expectations this time and get stressed again.
I've been decorating knitted rectangles today. I belong to a group of knitters who make 'trauma blankets' for dementia patients in the local hospital. We decorate them with buttons, bells, ribbons, beads - anything that can be fiddled with and keep them calm. I've done lots over the past couple of months, but will count the 2 I've done today towards this year's total.
I'm not going to make a list of planned projects; I've learned in the past if I make a list I get stressed about it and feel under pressure. So I'm just taking it as it comes, and will post my progress.
So.....2/100Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Definately agree. Crafting should be about having fun and often being spontaneous so you playing this challenge perfectly xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -

I love to spread my supplies out over the lounge floor too
Well done on making a start. I like a few different projects on the go as well - we must be crafting sisters:D:rotfl:

Good morning everyone,
I've excelled myself today so far as I'm popping in to declare a further 6 makes:j:j:j
These are:-
4 Angel Keyrings for orders received in my Etsy shop in the festive period
4 sheets of custom stickers (I'm counting as one make) again for an order received
1 birthday card for my Dad. I did cheat a little bit as the card was partially made and I had misplaced it but it is now found and embellished further so I'm counting it towards my total. It is leaving my craft room after all
So todays efforts so far have used up:- 4 angel charms, 4 keyrings, attachments for keyrings, 4 x organza bags, 4 sheets of stickers, one greeting sentiment (I have thousands of them!), some scraps of silver paper and three letter stickers. Not much but every little helps I'm hoping
My total now stands at 9/2020 - I'm nearly in double figures already - and so close to my target (ok the second part is not true but I've got to keep motivated somehow!!!) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020
