I won a few mag dailies (£900 mattress, chairs, cheese, summer hamper (designer gear), a £1200 bike from Soreen, premier league tickets from coke, a London hotel stay, and.......£13,500 from a web entry radio competition (paid off most of my mortgage and some credit cards and have plenty left). So really pleased with my comping year - feeling lucky and blessed.

Quite poor based on previous years, the highlight of the year was winning £100 cash and receiving the winning email on my birthday. :)

The only advent win was a plastic phone holder! the kind plastic thing you'd find in a Christmas cracker.

Mine was brilliant the time I bothered to sit still and comp, I've mainly dipped in out depending on my workload in 2019. I had 13 wins from Advents which was nice as I made a massive effort to make time for them.

2020 goal I will make more of an effort to comp as I miss the *fingers crossed feeling* you get from comping.

  • Nothing but then again I do only go for something decent, so much tat on offer nowadays is hardly an incentive to enter.

It was good but not like it used to be. Social Media annoys the hell out of me! but I still enjoy my hobby so thumbs up
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

I had too much work on to comp for most of the year, but I started picking it up again around August and got really serious by October.

I started keeping track of my wins for the first time this year, and when I look back over the list, I can see that I've had my best comping year yet, actually, winning more in a few months than I have done in entire years. Best wins were an iPhone, a fancy pants washing machine and an AI stay in Tenerife. :-)

    Washing machine £900 (MD)
6 night AI hotel stay £575 (website)

I only started in about September, and have won a couple of small prizes:
    • £25 Amazon Voucher
    • £50 Amazon Voucher

Hoping for more in 2020! Good luck, everyone! :money:
