Before may this year I only did the odd big comp, but then I started doing much more . I wond £1k cash, a hot tub worth £400, track day worth £400, tent worth £350 and a £50 cinema voucher. I’m pretty please with that! :) I very roughly worked out that comping this year has “paid” around £10 an hour! Lol.
You can't always get what you want... but if you try sometimes, well, you just might find.. you get what you need.

I think this may have been my worse year but I've won 33 competitions this year, not including the Quidco and Topcashback and won around £1200 worth of items. Including a small holiday which we couldn't attend due to an ill pet.

My Christmas was spent ill as well so I'm hoping I'm better for the new year and hoping 2020 is a better comping year. Looking forward to joining the [URL="https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6071520challenge[/URL] again for 2020 as I completed 48 of the 55 tasks off it this year, it is great fun and keeps me comping!
Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.

My least productive year so far - but I have had a couple of good years before 2019 so no complaints! Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed.... ;)

Yes, I wondered about that too..
  • Absolutely zero. I am fairly discerning about what I enter, but even still, starting to get a bit disheartened.
2018 wins: Aspinal of London jewellery box, Boudavida gym outfit, HP Pavilion laptop, The List party tickets, All Points East festival tickets, Kiehls moisturiser, By Terry cc serum, Nars Liquid Bronzer, Benefit highlighter, Nars illuminator, Fresh advanced lip trio set, Cetaphil sample set, signed copy of My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent
  • Pretty uneventful year.
The most interesting was a flight voucher that I ended up not being able to use because, when it arrived, the T&Cs had blackout dates of pretty much every date I could travel during the VERY SHORT period it was valid.
2020: Unusable return flight vouchers (2 different times!), £50 hamper voucher.
    BREAK
2022: £250 clothing voucher. Honeybuns cakes. Headphones. 3mo supply of corn snacks. Christmas jumper. Plantain chips. CBD skincare.
    BREAK
2025: Sophie Allport £500, Penelope Chilvers £300, RHS Flower Show tix

Was a second disappointing year. Did win a lovely Forest holiday worth about £600 and a caravan short break but nothing else worth mentioning.
Must admit the less I win the less comps I probably enter though so vicious circle!

    Mine was absolutely dire.
I've just looked back over all the monthly posts in IWIWIW and my year consisted of:
    £1.10 from a Quidco game
£3.30 from various Topcashback Hummingbird games
£30 cheque from Life Death Prizes
and a little cat tunnel from the advents.
What a rubbish year. 7 out of the 12 months I won absolutely zilch!
