Sorry, for not answering. Yes, I did fill in the UC50 form a while back. I added the new condition as you know, this is what happens when you’re honest! Thanks for all the help Alice, I have evidence and will bring all of it with me to the next WCA.0

Good luck.
Having that tribunal decision should make it easier.
Explain that those conditions (on which the tribunal decision was based) haven't improved.
If you have family / a carer get them to confirm this as additional evidence (if you didn't do this at UC50 stage).
"Yes, I did fill in the UC50 form a while back. I added the new condition..."
Given this info, reporting the new condition was a reasonable tactic. At that time I presume you had failed the WCA and were in the process of appealing that decision.
Since appeals can take up to 12 months to be heard, then advising of the new condition gave you two chances of regaining LCW status -
a) If the tribunal found in your favour on the pre-existing conditions, &
b) If a WCA found you had LCW on the combination of old and new conditions.
The downside is of course having to attend an assessment, but remember at the time you completed the UC50 you (I assume) had been found fit for work?
Your initial post didn't make this clear. Hence huckster's posts.
Try not to get too exercised about the fact you need to attend the assessment. Had your tribunal gone against you, then you would have been happy to have a reassessment so quickly which looked at both pre-existing and new conditions. What you now need to do to concentrate on the upcoming assessment, and stop fretting about the fact that it follows your successful tribunal.
As said above, having that tribunal decision should make the assessment simpler.
Just concentrate on the assessment. Do your preparation, have the evidence with you, and know where you should score the requisite points.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0 -
