lots of expensive renovations in the pipeline here so OPs have slowed a little. Felt the need to scratch the itch today. Whilst I doubt we'll complete our 2nd 1% challenge by the end of next month, we're well over half way so I shouldn't grumble

Forgot to post, £150 overpayment made at the beginning of October and November and another set for the beginning of next month. No extras managed on top as we have also been decorating so extra expenses there.£6459.54 paid by 1st December almost at 5% which I am amazed at. We now have a plan to cut the 17 year left in half, I will find the money to round it up to 5% somewhere.1

Too late to edit my post , my maths was off, we have hit 5% so no more to find this year, looking forward to planning paying more next year!!1
