Does that not go without saying....

Consider me deeply unsurprised.0 -

It's the card supplier's responsibility to ensure than nobody other than the customer uses the account.0 -

Paypal was involved...
This could easily be a compromised-elsewhere issue affecting the OPs email or paypal.
OP might like to check their email address at https://haveibeenpwned.com/
Or not if they think they have been cloned or skimmed twice in a row and its a physical card issue. Bit of bad luck there.0 -

I take it you are refering to the OP comment.I have only made one purchase, via PayPal, on the new card
See my explanation in #6.
This is a common issue.Life in the slow lane0 -
Hello all
3rd replacement credit card now compromised, some closed down sports place in the USA. 4th card on it's way.
Card freeze blocked the transaction for £0.00. Was a little worried on using my card this January, only around 3 transactions. How come this has happened again? I am using PayPal, never punched in my card details direct. Just looking for some advice/comments.
Thanks

It will not be paypal. Unless your paypal account is compromised and then it will show in your paypal account.
No way to get full card no via paypal.
Either used at retailer with someone taking details off till roll. Family member taking details.
Did the envelope look tampered with?Life in the slow lane0
