Can anyone help me find a cheaper flight next week?

I know it's a longshot, but you guys came through for me before. I have brought forward my plans for emigrating to Canada and, ideally, I would leave 31 December, but can also do 1 or 2 Jan.


I'm flying from Edinburgh/Glasgow and need to land in Calgary/Edmonton with no connections in Canada beforehand (due to immigration landing issues). Also, would prefer no US connections as I'd rather not go through US immigration if possible.


Also, no cobbled together separate flights. I need the baggage to be booked right through and don't want to have the stress of a late flight causing me to have to pay for a new onward flight.



I can book a return for any date as I won't be using the return. With the criteria above, the best I'm getting is around 800. But I'm only using skyscanner and kayak.



Are there any more skilled bargain hunters out there who may be albe to find something for me? Sorry for asking, but worth a shot given the sums involved!

Kayak and Skyscanner will include many third parties that do not have live pricing so you could be making booking request for non-existent prices. Look on google flights or itamatrix to compare real fares

Thanks, yes I've been let down before with that in the past.


At the moment I think my best flight will be 821, being a flight through easyjet/westjet using Gatwick Connects for the guaranteed connection. All cheaper flights go through the US or Canada before the final destination.


If anyone fancies a Christmas Eve challenge in finding a cheaper flight, I would be eternally grateful for your time. Emigrating isn't cheap and this is a large part of my budget.

I'm glad I held off...the same flight combination was 740 when I logged in this morning. A Christmas miracle lol
