SORN car on private land

What action can the landlord take?
Not the OP's problem, that's the landlord's problem
If the OP is paying the landlord for a private parking space, then it's the landlord's responsibility to provide it and to ensure it's available to their tenant. If they're unable or unwilling to do so then they should reduce the rent. It's no different (though obviously less urgent) than if the boiler broke, or the roof started leaking.
That is, obviously *if* the private space is listed as part of what the OP is paying rent for. If it was never mentioned until after the contract was signed and the landlord said "Oh and by the way, you can use that space", then it'd be a little more tricky.
As an aside - I get the the forum police are humourless, but maybe just remove the obvious joke bit rather than deleting the entire post and the genuine advice is contained. Just a thought.0
