No ... at this stage there's no assessment of the evidence (as none has yet been filed) so there's nothing for a judge to rule on. That doesn't mean the claimant may not decide to discontinue, but even then they'd usually leave it until the last possible moment in case they can still coerce the defendant into paying.1

I guess you'll read up on the next steps in the newbies thread, so nothing in this well trodden process comes as a surprise to you, and you will know if an expected item of post - such as a hearing date - seems unusually overdue so you can chase it before anything bad happens....1
