Athena Civil Parking Charge Notice - Lidl Car Park Dundee
Comments

Standard response , I would not leave it too long in replying , I am surprised that you did not include those details with the complaint
They have given you the reasons why they employ Athena , to keep spaces free for customers , the non customers are responsible for causing them to believe in why they employ parking companies , so people need to change their behaviour due to the proliferation of cameras
As it's the holidays I would leave it a few days in case another one arrives ,but not weeks0 -
We were worried if we gave those details they would have went ahead and appealed the charge and responded with something like 'Ok thats it done but its a one off' bladdy bla... and then we would still have have the second one to deal with when it comes. Basically thought it was the best way to get the wheels in motion while expecting the second letter and hopefully get the two dealt with at the same time... I think we will wait a day or two and see if second one appears as its been almost a week.Without those in your communication with the CEO, they had very little prospect of cancelling the charge with Athena. Those two items are the reference points most PPCs work on. Provide them straightaway.
You might want to mention that you fear another PCN is on its way and (politely) ask that they contact Athena to try to head it off.
I must say that when Lidl do cancel a PCN, they do indicate that it is a one-time gesture, so you may have a new PCN to deal with on an 'ignore' basis. But get this first one cancelled to start with.Standard response , I would not leave it too long in replying , I am surprised that you did not include those details with the complaint

If you have two PCNs, just make one complaint one week in one name with one email addy, and another complaint (worded differently, get someone else to write it in their style) the next week using another family surname and different email addy, and Lidl will cancel both.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
