Smickan well done for being so organised :T .
Here is my list of things done and things that still need to be done.
We are going on holiday on 14th -21st December - This is for my bil 40th birthday, suitcases are stacked with things that I keep remembering we need for the holiday, some clothes are ironed and some clothes still need to be ironed and put in at the last minute. - Holdiay money needs to be bought (thankfully its saved for) - bil pressie and cards are sorted.
24th Dec - My DS 11th birthday :A
We are taking him to York (which is about an hour away) for the day so that we can make his birthday special. There are 6 kids doing quazar and 6 kids and 6 adults doing bowling. I have ordered the tescos vouchers for all of this as we are paying for everyone and have booked the quazar and bowling (after ringing up 3 times and 3 times getting it wrong I eventually called in to make sure it was booked ok when I went through last weekend)
We have also booked for all of us to have a meal at our local italian restaurant for the night time.
DS pressie is ordered and paid for cant wait to see his face we have got him a computer (everyone has chipped in)
25th Dec - Xmas day
Most pressies are bought and some are wrapped, im going to Leeds shopping tomorrow and I cant wait, I can just have a nice look around and get the last minute bits that I need.
I dont send christmas cards I donate some money to a local cancer charity, my friends and family are ok with this and lots of my family also do this.
I have bought a xmas cake but need to buy all my food and booze when I get back from our holiday so Ive got 22nd and 23rd to shop, get all holiday washing done and put away:eek: .
As you can imagine ive got lists everywhere when I keep remembering things that I need to buy, do or pack.
I am also on saturday going to see McFly with my ds and my nephews (nephews birthday pressie) also next saturday its my works christmas do (and yes I organized that too). Im hopefully putting up the Christmas decorations on Sunday, if not it will be sometime next week.
Im so looking forward to this holiday so I can chill out for a week.0 -
everything is bought mostly wrapped, just waiting for a few bits of ebay. bought all the 'dry' food items so just the fresh stuff to get. Posted my overseas cards and some pressies this morning. just waiting for the chaos on saturday with the decorating and god children coming over.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0

I am waiting for my Avon order to come, need to pop to boots and spend my advantage card points on a 3 for 2 on mens gift sets to finish off my partner's pressies and erm....thats it. All my cards are wrote out ready to go and about 3/4's of the pressies are wrapped. Feel Quite Positive!
Food- I'm at mums xmas and boxing day but i am in charge of the buffet tea, thats all sorted, all the party bits (quiches, sausage rolls e.t.c) and bought and in the freezer so just fresh stuff to go really.
If it wasn't for the fact that I don't have a living room right now and that I've took three days holiday from work to finish off decorating it as the carpet is coming on Monday then I'd feel reasonably organised I'm sure! lol

I have bought all my pressies and the are all wrapped and tagged. Just got my food shop to do which obviously will be done just before Christmas.
I don't like to go into December with any important shopping still left to be done, although you do sometimes get the best prices if you want to take a chance and leave it till the last minute!

Starting to worry now as I know I don't have much spare time and we appear to be about to put our house on the market having accidently fallen in love with another... oops.
Things done: My far away friends have their presents bought, wrapped and in brown paper. Will do cards this weekend for those and get ready to post. Have bought most of my sisters presents and some of grandmas, and all but tiny things for the kids.
Things not done: Any presents for OH, Aunt, Mum, Dad, close male friend, Grandmas birthday and stocking fillers for the kids, my sister and a small thing for her boyfriend. All my cards still to write/do, decorations all in the loft (think we will do those weekend of the 8th Dec once all estate agents stuff sorted). Wine for christmas needs buying (we're off to mum and dads thankfully for food) and I need to sort out new year things....
 Wish I had not written all that now! Eeek! Have ideas for Dad, grandma and my aunt but am for once a bit stuck as to what to get mum as she's not been very well recently and a bit down in the dumps to boot. She's got all the things she needs and have been taking little things to cheer her up every time I go home to see her so have run out of usual ideas!0 -
I am a bit to organised for my liking never ever like this!son's xmas all bought bike to be picked up before xmas ,families all bought not wrapped.
Tree etc will not put up though as a bit of a traditionalist e.g 12 days before xmas.Just back into comping past few months to help me get over rubbish in life.... won Hotpoint fridge freezer, soda stream0 -
humpf...... i have no found hte missing present (in a truely ridiculous place, shows how sensible i am about hiding things), but now i've had a conversation with my mum and it turns out the gift i got for my dad was so prefect that in the meantime they've bought one themselves.melancholly wrote: »all presents bought and wrapped - except for one which I can't find.... turns out I'm too organised for my own good! i refuse to pay out for something else, even though i've been looking all week for it! won't back down until christmas eve - if i haven't found it by then i will so so so so mad with myself!!
next year i'm leaving it all until christmas eve
:happyhear0 -
Pressies are all bought (thank you Avon & Pigsback!) - the excess being used as birthday presents next year. My tree was put up last week although I am still after another one and more decorations. I have yet to write and send cards. My food is also bought and today, I convinced my mum to make me some mincepies (hers are the best in the world!).
Guess, I am a tad too organised but I still haven't wrapped anything.0
