Feeling quite smug now
:xmastree::xmastree:
Bought everything (Except for the mum of the children I look after - bottle of wine/chocolates nearer to Christmas), wrapped everything - one last present for my brother and mum arriving this week.
Nine present parcels to my friends are posted out around the UK, one left to post when she gets settled in her new house and sends the address this week sometime, two cards to post out - the rest for neighbours/family given with presents/posted through letter boxes.
Christmas tree is up and dressed - some other proper decorations to go up on Saturday, some alcohol in for Christmas and hidden so we're not tempted (out of sight, out of mind... hopefully!) Chicken and other bits in and at the bottom of the freezer so dinner is all done.
Now just the clats and soft drinks and some lager etc around the 20th etc to go
I love being organised early, it really helps put things in the right mindframe and lets us relax nearer Christmas. (I have heart problems so the less stress the better
)
How's everyone else going?

One Christmas present and a Christmas Eve birthday present left to buy - one of them I won't buy till I get to the place I'm spending Christmas, the other I'll get this weekend.
All but the unbought and my beloved's presents are wrapped. I'll wrap them all together when Himself is out of the house for a decent period of time.
The wine is ordered, and I'm not responsible for the food.
The tree isn't bought yet, but we'll do that next weekend. And then it's all done!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

All the presents bought for Family, pets, friends and wrapped.
Tree up and decorated, house has lights put up on the outside and the big Christmas tree at the front of the house, has its lights too!
Not bad a for Man!!!!:D0 -
All presents are bought...I have them stored at my mums as we are moving house the week before Christmas and it's nearer to transport them from there.
I've written my Christmas cards and bought tree choc's and candy canes which Father Christmas will bring on Christmas Eve (otherwise they get eaten). My son's advent calendar is bought and waiting. We've already done the Father Christmas visit.
I am buying a few pieces of Christmas goodies each week during the weekly shop to spread it out. So I already have two boxes of biscuits, two chocolate logs and a christmas cake so far. I've been saving nectar points to take off my food shop as well as a penny jar.
I've donated a christmas cake to the works charity raffle and bought my tickets and handed in my secret santa.
The wrapping will wait until the week before Christmas as I've booked a weeks holiday from work (for my move)...so when my little boys at school I'll wrap then
and my chimney sweep is coming on the 20th (which is the day before my wedding anniversary so that's lovely). Decorations will go up when we move....
I feel totally smug that this year I can now sit back and enjoy without the craziness of running around....obviously apart from the move eeek!

I organised myself all year, starting to buy stuff on january, sorting stuff out really early on in the year, so I could have a peaceful, relaxing christmas this year. Until.........
About 3 weeks ago when we decided we're gonna move :eek:
So my peaceful, relaxing xmas has gone out the window and we move in a couple of weeks.:rolleyes:
But fingers crossed, if I get myself sorted we should be in and settled in the new place by the 10th of Dec, so it should give me long enough to get xmas decs up and get sorted in time for xmas.
Wish me luck and keep ur fingers crossed for me :rotfl:0 -
Call me an old scrooge if you like but I can't believe people have decorations up in November! Still well done to you for being so organised with your presents, I wish I was!0
