As I said I won’t do it again. It worked in my favour but only because of their lack of knowledge of the T&Cs. What do you want me to do - send Morrison’s a cheque for a tenner or whatever?

Yeah someone held the pump. It was quite an operation and I found it very satisfying. No previous station had complained so I wasn’t it know it wasn’t allowed.

The way we did it was this

I arrive on the pump and Mrs C pulled up behind. I filled up. She then got out and held the nozzle while I move my car forwards and then move hers forwards. She then fills up and I went in to pay.

Did it at 9 on a Monday night and there was nobody else at the pumps so no disruption to other customers. I worked it all out myself and felt quite proud of it, shame that the T&Cs didn’t allow it.

How long did it take to work it out. And what exactly did you work out?

See above - how to get both cars filled on one pump. Dunno exactly how long maybe the walk from the till to the car after I got the voucher?

Saved £9.90. Going to the Caribbean on it but can’t decide if to go first or plain business class.

Surprises staff did not lock down pump when they saw that happening.

I didn't know the mega bus went that far.

I used to work in a supermarket petrol station years ago and people used to try this trick back then.

It goes without saying previous cashiers were aware of the Terms and Conditions of the offer but even when they are wrong “the customer is always right” ;)

Oh God if I were your wife there would be no way on earth I'd agree to that to save a few quid. Mortifying.

I'm surprised they did not call the police when seeing 1st car move off without paying...

    ..

So if I move my car to a parking space before paying they will call the Police
The Police are going to be really happy with that scenario
