  • No you can’t.
And no Amex doesn’t appear in the app you have to add the card with the card number and security code etc.
  • I'm wondering whether you have made any inroads on repaying your £228,000 debts...

Made huge in roads in paying off the debt. Business has been going well and my credit has improved a lot.

To be fair £150000 was a mortgage.

Their unsecured debt was "only" £75000...

, I was considering applying for an AMEX credit card/charge card I heard that sometimes the card details are available on the app after getting accepted. The second option was applying for a personal loan. I borrowed some money from a family member and wish to repay them back tomorrow as they need the money back urgently as its an emergency
Amex don't offer cash advances on their charge cards. If you want a cash advance on an Amex credit card you will have to wait for the physical card and go to an ATM. You will not get £3000 from an ATM in one go it will take several days. You would be hit by 3% cash advance fee and interest from day 1. You can't get cash advances from an ATM by using an app and can't pay a friend using a credit or charge card.

That is good news. Are all your overdrafts repaid too? Hopefully your credit files will be healing and you will be eligible to get a loan at a decent rate...to repay your family...

Sold the property, invested heavily into business only have £30,000 in unsecured debt right now. Which is paid monthly at £360 and £180 respectively. Also credit is good have a credit card with £2,000 limit has £400 available to use right now, pay it off in full every month.

Probably much less £20,000 haven't checked remaining balance been making payments for over 3 years for the 20k loan and 2 years for 10k loan

    This is a US website.
Amex will provide your account number and instant access to $1,000 of your credit limit that same day. Your card will then arrive in 10 business days at most
  • Since I've dipped my toe into this thread, I might as well bring up your Emergency Fund (EF). I think you need a buffer in your budget, to cover yourself against any unknown expenses (either for business, private or both). We usually recommend a six-month buffer...With an EF saved up, it means you cope with the unknowns, without having to borrow.

Overdrafts all paid in full, only have two personal bank accounts now. Closed everything else. Just need some ideas on which reputable banks/lenders offer same day loans
