Yes! We have loads of conditioner and no shampoo. I don’t think it’s possible to do it - that would be almost as mystical as actually finishing a lip balm instead of having 4 in varying that I’ve half finished and then forgotten 🤣

Well done for planning to work through your items before switching. I found a huge bottle of shampoo yesterday so I'm sorted for quite some time to come. Now shower gel equivalent - that evaporates at an alarming rate.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Glad it's not just me with the shampoo and conditioner - and the multiple lip balms sounds very familiar.
I've added up my Christmas spends 😵💫. I did put money away each month but deep down I thought I'd have a fair bit left over - but the pot is now empty. Im pleased with my purchases but when I stand back and look at the pile of presents it doesn't look like great value for money. Another sign for me of changing behaviours and changing values.Had a horrid week at work - one person in the team is very challenging and difficult and I've ended up thinking about work on and off for the whole weekend. I've tried hard not to but I keep going over our last conversation.29 weeks to go ....2 -
29 weeks to go.... Focus on that instead...
You will be free and they will still be working.
Hugs though. It's horrible when things don't go as planned at work.
I've spent less per person but as a result have been far more creative - like finding vintage comics on FB for a fiver etc that I know my brother will love...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

We've one of those at work at present - used to be a lovely team to work in, but now....
Thank god you've only 29 weeks to go. Goes to show it is DEF the right decision as work DOES NOT deserve your attention over the weekend (at least not for those reasons).
I hear you on the shampoo vs conditioner ratios! There's 3 part bottles of conditioner in our shower, yet I had to get another bottle of shampoo out of stores this morning!3 -
Thank you SH - you are so right that my annoying colleagues have got years of working ahead of them and fairly soon they will have no impact on me at all. (Insert a suitable smug face here)
nice to see you Rebecca - looks like exciting times ahead for you and the family. I'm so pleased for you.3 -
I've realised it is my 2 year diary anniversary. I remember starting just before Christmas to get me up and running for the new year.
I've come a long way (though still need to work hard at saving not spending). I genuinely think that now I wouldn't want the sparkly plastic cactus that I craved at the start of this diary.
2 years later I've stayed debt free, am saving regularly and have nearly beaten this year's mahoosive council tax bill a month early. I've also just sent £200 from my accumulation of marginal gains pot to my stocks and shares ISA. I don't want to sound smug, I'm just surprised at how far I've come and hope that it gives encouragement to others on the boards who are at different points in their journey. There are so many lovely people on here who generously share their journeys and support others.6 -

You don't sound smug at all - you sound like you are taking stock of your life and celebrating what you've achieved and are still achieving. That's a good thing. Well doneAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I decant my shampoo into an old hand wash bottle with a pump top and dilute it about 60% shampoo/40%water. Give it a little shake before you pump it out, no difference in washing ability and then lasts around the same time as conditioner.5
