    thanks SH

well MrBC after his well chronicled slow start has had a highly successful 90 day flurry on eBay and has totalled over £900 in sales.  This was boosted by a £400 sale of a piece of furniture at the weekend.  We treated ourselves to a congratulatory curry tonight - literally eating into the profits but we enjoyed it.

have just cashed out £12 from £co which will go £2.00 to Christmas and £10 to start to replenish entertainment pot.
  • Blimey, well done to ol' SlowSort- obviously in his electric phase now! 😁
And well done on the £12, very nice to be able to feed the pots.
I think that curry was much deserved.

yes indeed, MrBC has done very well and there was me thinking he was just lost in cyberspace some evenings when he was actually listing and selling our unwanted treasures.  We are on a roll now with de-cluttering and have hired a skip to enable us to tackle the garage of detritus.  We've faffed about with token gestures of going to the local dump (household re-cycling centre) but we are finding a skip far more effective .

planning an easy dinner tonight of jacket spuds, chilli and salad and we are then going to watch The Guernsey Literary and Potato peel pie film.  I've seen it before and think the book is much better but will enjoy a wild Saturday night watching a dvd and knitting, but as it's Saturday wine will be involved too.

@PennysIntoPounds - you are very talented!
The skip has now left the driveway and it was full to the brim with stuff!  Feels so nice to have an organised garage minus all the c r * p that seems to have sneakily accumulated.  It was pricey but we agreed that it was well worth the money.

received a cheque out of the blue for £57 from a former energy supplier.   I can't make head nor tail of the statement they sent with it but hey ho I'll happily give them the benefit of the doubt and pay it into my account and put it towards Christmas.
  • Cor, a skip load of stuff gone, and a refund- and from an old energy company
You're definitely going through a purple patch, do any things you've been putting off now while the Blackcats good vibes are swishing around!
