Thanks that is very helpful! I have created a hosting website using 000webhostapp.com and have parked my domain there so now when I click the URL to my paid domain it goes there. However I am stumbling on how to redirect to my weebly URL...

URL (or Web) redirection?

On the hosting cpanel... cPanel > Settings > Redirects

Then add your Weebly URL.

(As an aside, Netnerd cheap hosting has Weebly built in, and maybe that could be a solution for you further down the line?)

Web redirection to my weebly site that has around 4 pages.
I did try that but it didn’t work. I wasn’t sure though what to put where it says

Redirect from
https://mywebsite.000webhostapp.com / ???? - what do I put in this mandatory box?

Redirect to
https://mysite.weebly.com

That sounds right. You'll need your 000webhost domain name for the first box, and your Weebly URL for the second.

What error message does it give, or does it just not work?

It could be related to HTTPS - maybe?

It doesn’t give an error message it just doesn’t work.
I’ve tried this:

Redirect to:

https://mysite.000webhostapp.com / https://mysite.000webhostapp.com

Redirect to:

https://mysite.weebly.com

Nothing has changed. Have tried both http and https

Make sure that your domain is correctly pointing to your domain providers forwarding system. Some providers will have a different server for forwarding that you will need to point the domain to. Once done, you may need to wait 24 hours for it to work

My domain purchased at netcetera is correctly pointing to my hosting site 000webhostapp.com
But I am not able to figure out how to then get 000webhostapp to redirect to my weebly website so then when entering my domain weblink it takes me to my weebly site. It currently just takes me to my hosting site

Actually what I have done is “park” my domain. Not sure if this makes a difference?

You don't want to park your domain, you want to point it to your weebly site. Either through the weebly IP address (which I think you said you dont want to do as it costs), or just do web forwarding to the free domain weebly assigned you. Pointing via IP will be the best option.
