Mobile phone Gboard problem
I have an old Xiaomi mobile phone model Mi 4i.
Hand me down from the missus.
Today for no apparent reason a message 'Unfortunately Gboard has stopped' keeps popping up, I cancel it but 2 secs later it pops up again. Can't use phone when this message is on this screen.
Googled how to get rid of it and it asks me to look for Gboard in the apps.
But I can't find Gboard in the apps.
Any ideas what to do?
Thanks.

I use Gboard, the app icon is blue with the Google coloured G on a keyboard motif. If not visible look in the Play Store list in 'My Apps and Games'.Evolution, not revolution0

Well I couldn't find Gboard anywhere on the apps in my phone. Not in Google Store anywhere either!
Apparently there's a problem with it and it started crashing Motoroller phones and has spread since.
But I typed Gboard into my google search and got nothing.
Then for the first time on any phone I used the google microphone and said Gboard.
It came up with the Gboard stuff which also had an uninstall or update option.
I Tapped uninstall which it did and all seems fine now.
Fingers crossed. It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0 -
It should also have been listed via settings and apps.. There should be an uninstall option when Gboard app. is selected in the list.
Not had any problems personally with, a presumably Motorola, not Motoroller!0 -

Dunno why but it wasn't there.

OH and I both have Motorola phones both are affected. After googling I cleared data and it worked, until they were switched off, then it returned. My latest try is deleting the update and it seems to be working so far, having turned my phone off then on again. I'm no expert so I feel for anyone who is not very techi minded.Haters are gonna hate - you're not obliged to participate0
