Highview Parking PCN

I am really new to this and apologise in advance if my post appears as a duplicate
or triplicate post. I have read most posts /threads on Highview Parking et al
but cannot find any post relating to my post. I received a PCN as the registered
keeper 18 days after the supposed date the parking issue occurred. I was not the
driver as I was in hospital recovering from a lumbar operation. I would like to
know what my chances are of successfully appealing the PCN and on the flip side
the car in question is now written off in an RTA with the driver still bed bound and
recovering from shock, whiplash and all the unwanted stress.
Could you kindly advise on how to go about a successful appeal as we've had a year
from hell and would need guidance on how best to progress with it.
I'm unsure if to appeal on the grounds of me being in hospital of that the car is now a right-off
Many thanks.

At the top of this board is a thread that tells Newbies to read it first. In that thread is a template written for you.

Follow the instructions on how to send the template. Highview will cancel your ticket shortly after reading the template.

I do not see what relevance the car being written off has so do not mention it.

Go back to the screen where you found the New Thread button earlier.

It is the third thread on the list of threads there.
  • One final question, do I copy the appeal template into the "Further Information" field as the "Appeal Evidence" field is for an attached file?

    Many thanks.

Yes, and no ticking any box saying that you were the driver, obviously not!

Highview ones are the easiest to get cancelled. Ignore them if they write asking who was driving, and wait for your POPLA code or cancellation.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Just a quick update to advise that I received an email from Highview Parking advising that they have now cancelled the PCN following my successful appeal.
Thanks guys for your help / advise on this.
