Matalan online account problem

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but not sure where else to put it.

Has anyone else had problems accessing their Matalan online account?

My problem has been going on for ages, and try as I might, I don't seem to be having any luck resolving it with Matalan customer services.

I have done everything they have advised, including using a different browser, different PC, different location, clearing cookies, giving 48 hours before re-requesting the password change email etc. I've checked my trash/spam folder, checked and double checked I have the correct email address and spelt it correctly etc etc.

At one point I was told that there was a known problem with the password reset email for other people too, but still nothing got resolved. It seems to have started when they upgraded their security system and changed their password criteria. As my account is a fairly old one, I think my password doesn't contain the necessary features. But, I need to access the account in order to make my password meet the new criteria.


Am I the only one with this problem, does anyone have any suggestions? (I would rather not make another account, as I did try and make a guest account but that seems to have come with its own complications)
