Thought it would be nice if @crazyvish kept us up to date on progress with this one too.
Sorry, I wasn't ignoring this thread or your suggestions. There has been no help from burgerking. I spoke with the branch manager and he mentioned that there is not much he could do as they don't own or manage the carpark. This one was a huge retail park. I have already received a rejection to my appeal from PCM by this time.
The last letter I received from TRACE Legal was on 18th May 20 offering me a discount of £50 over £160.
As per Coupon-mad's suggestion and my last response, I'm waiting for the court papers to arrive before I come back and seek more help on this. I Didn't want to use up the forum space or your time with updates of no value.1 -
If it's a huge retail park , complain to the management company , or the landowner , or both. !!3

Could I get help on a similar one. I got a charge for parking in a disabled bay two years ago but I had badges and they had blown off my dashboard as my mum got out the car. I emailed them about this at the time and sent pictures of my badge and heard nothing back. Today a letter from debt recovery plus has turned up wanting 145 pounds for the charge from U.K. parking control ltd.
should I ignore or email them and tell them that I heard nothing from the company after I sent emails with my badge as proof? Thanks guys for any help you can give xx0 -
Presumably this is the same parking charge you posted about 18 months ago, when you were given the right advice to follow, whether you did or not we don't know because you seem to have decided not to provide any updates to those who gave their time freely to you. Was there a reason?angua1973 said:Could I get help on a similar one. Please continue on your original thread because this one belongs to someone else and involves an entirely different PPC and at a different stage involving different players - and was about parking in a bay when there was seemingly no entitlement to do so.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I have come back to provide an update on my case.
As suggested by Redx, I have contacted the management and have had no response. I have emailed the manager again yesterday, I will have to wait and see if they would respond.
@Coupon-mad, Whilst I've been waiting to see a claim form come in through post, I've received a letter before claim from Gladstones Solicitors. As per the suggestion in FAQ and Redx, I'll put in SAR request to DPO @ PCM.

...and send the LBC response to Gladstones, including denial of debt and seeking debt advice, hhold for 30 days?3
