Thing is, if they ticked admitting part of a claim I am not sure they even get a hearing, I think we saw in another case that this is game over.

  • Yes, I did that because I had read several posts at Fightback forums? from people sending £20 in an envelope like if they wanted to fulfill their part of "the contract" with the PPC and as an act of good faith?.
Myself I sent them £5 on a postal order for the fee and any interest as £20 looks excessive to me,
  • I did that like meaning, "Ok, sorry that I went into your car park, sorry for contributing to the wear and tear of your pavement with my car. If you have stipulated that what a car should pay is £3 I will give you that, but not more than that because you are ABUSING"

The point is though, you didn't say in reply to the court form, that you wanted to defend. Or did you? I am confused by what you ticked.

ONLY tell us about what you put in reply to the N1 COURT FORM, not the LBC please.

  • The text I put on the post n19 is what I put on my defence (not the admision). And at the same time I admited an amount of £5. I understand now that I didn't have to do the second thing, the admision, because I had already paid those £5...

I will upload photos of all of it, the admision and the defence, tomorrow.

    Thanks a lot.

OK so you did defend. That's good, as at least you did write something as your defence and it wasn't bad and can be built on later in your WS and evidence.

You also needed to actually send the £5 postal order to P/Eye's Enforcement Team, with a covering letter stating the Claim number. Not just consider sending it, as your defence mentions.

The forms you completed tell you that if you admit part of a claim you MUST send that remittance to the Claimant, so do it, even though they WILL return it.

  • Thanks,
Yes I did that. I sent the postal order to the correct address with a letter including the claim number as stated in the "Response form". I did all that the same day.

I also sent a SAR letter on Tuesday that I did using the forms from legalbeagels. I could NOT use the Parkingeye's online form though, and I had to send it by normal post only. I tried at least 10 times and used 2 different computers. Once pressing the submit button it shows like a rolling circle but never ended up showing any confirmation. I just realized I should have tried another browser but I didn't. I use Opera btw.

I will start soon to prepare for the court hearing, after Christmas probably...
  • I've tried sending the SAR with Firefox and same result. After a short period of time the CAPTCHA says it is expired and it never sends the form.

I think I'm gonna take some days off this now.

    Enjoy
