My sister in law tells Highview have asked for receipts from her transactions that day in the retail park. I assume this is a bit fat no? I mean, even if it was a legit request, I doubt I'd have receipts from a month ago, even if it was any of their business.

Weirdly, they have also asked for copies of the letters they've sent her?!
That is odd, are you SURE that is what they mean?

She does know not to blab about who the driver was or say 'here is my receipt', yes?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Sorry folks, mixed messages. It was the LANDOWNER asking for receipts and copies of correspondence.

She does have one entry on her credit card for a shop transaction on that day so has sent a redacted version of that. Might be promising that the landowner is even asking these things.
  • HEY, GUESS WHAT!

My S-I-L has received an email from Highview Parking that they have now cancelled the PCN and to ignore any other correspondence, etc. AN ABSOLUTE WIN!

This one wasn't very complicated or difficult but thanks so much to everyone here. Knowing that there are knowledgeable people here who can advise every step of the way was immense, esp with busy lives, work, family, etc.

I'm not sure if it was the email to the landowner or HP looking at the (second) template appeal we sent but, either way, that's money in her pocket so a Christmas miracle!

Just shows that we know what the core issues are

Number one is a landowner or retailer complaint , they have the power

A good keeper appeal is the second option , after point one has been done

The next option isn't required if the points one and two worked

    Well done and Merry Xmas

Highview will always cancel when they see the template. In saying that a landowner leaning on them can quicken the process no end.
