When I worked I loved high parking charges. The higher the better. It meant that the savings from cycling to work were higher.

Every retailer I’ve worked at that had a similar system with parking eye owning the car park or managing it had free parking for staff.

If a company has its own car park I think it’s disgusting to charge staff to use it.
  • Thanks everyone. I have requested that this be moved to the parking forum. While I don't like paying for parking there is such limited parking it does encourage those who can to find alternative methods of transport and save the spaces for those that need them.

As well as following the advice on the parking board about appealing to gemini solutions, have you approached your employer? The hospital employs gemini solutions to manage the car park and should be able to get the fine cancelled.
