OK- bit of a wobble. Cat broke again, AND i'd had a frivolity days before which would have ironically paid for it! a little lapse in discpline there
so, loaded up £300 to roll into the next month on a different card (very low % payment plan which i can overpay) and also there was £100 removed from the other card since last posting
This now puts me at:
#175 = £5300 / £7000
One step forward three steps back i guess! Keep up the good work folksPay Off Debts by Xmas 2025 debt £0/74006 -

Hi All
No. 82 here. I haven’t posted since the changes to the site as I cannot fathom it. However I wanted to post to say I AM DEBT FREE. I have been on this thread since Jan 2015 and have paid off £34322 in that time. I am made up and a man now going to focus on my mortgage. I will also update my sig when I can work out how
Big thanks to all who have posted over the last 5 years, although I rarely post I read every single post made by others. I honestly could not have done it without this site, and this thread and grocery challenge in particular
Good luck to you all in your journey

#148 here and I have had a break (through being busy etc rather than a decision) - thought I'd made a massive mistake and put my debt repayments back loads, but turns out there's been very little change. Bad in some ways as I've made no progress but at least it's not been adding to the debts. I still have less than £2k debts and I've also been squirrelling some savings away (due to the CV19 crisis - don't want to be left with zero in the bank if the worst was to happen!).
Anyway, I'm back on the wagon and have a plan to still be debt-free by Christmas. It's going to take some doing but I'm loving the fact that with so little debt, my worry levels are pretty low....would still love for them to be zero! I'm following the Ramsey baby steps so will be concentrating on my EF from that point, with lots of savings for the future/sinking funds as well.

Debt - Start date 14/4/25 = £14,880.45
Savings Goal = £1000 EF - £0/£1000 = 0%5 -
