Hubby got a big cheque today (expenses from work) and paid it all to the CC. We may have to use the CC for emergencies (if the car needs work for example) but going to try not to and hopefully I can keep the amount of debt remaining below £2k!!!

cleared my daughters school trip debt (which may actually be cancelled but if it is then that money will be put away for another trip in the future) Which brings our total current debt to £6k!

#97  Paid off £3979.12 in just over 3 months!  [40%]

I have changed the credit card direct debits so that they will clear before December so I can just forget about it and let them do the work. I won't be overpaying anymore just in case I lose my job.
This thread has been a massive, massive kick up the bum for us, without it I would have just balance transferred the debts and kept them rolling!
