So today I paid off the last £374.40 to my car and I now OWN IT outright!!!! This has been 6 years of HP and loan payments ranging from £140-£300 per month... all for a fiat 500!!! !!!!!!!!!
Will NEVER EVER get a new car again - you pay more or less the same back in interest.
Lesson learned!!
Right now im happy i've settled it though

What a weird month. We got married! So we have used our very kind wedding gifts to go towards the debt. Luckily I only sent half to the credit card before lockdown hit so I have some left in case I lose my job in the next two months. I think this might be a stretch to do this all this year but I'm desperate to pay this debt off so that we have more money each month.

Managed to somehow save a bit of money this month and so paid a chunk off each credit card to make them round numbers.
Providing I am careful, even if I am furloughed, I should be able to clear all debts by December (but I do have some leeway to cut this if necessary as being able to pay bills is more important than a challenge I know xx)No Spend Days 2020 Jul 24 / 28 Jun 20/25 May 22/25 Apr 20/25 Mar 16/25 Feb 20/20 Jan 20/15

DD gone out- now stand at:
#175 = £4400 / £6700
I think the current situation will at least slow down my mommentum- may end up having to cut the DD even, just temporarily. I've needed a piece of kit for home isolation, there may be a problem with my new(er) car- hopefully i wont need anything doing on it whilst we're like this!! and best case my income will be a chunk lower- i'll be doing well if that's only how I'm hit.
Fingers crossed for everyone- keep sharing those payments- it'll keep us all motivated
