  • Hi, this thread is really inspirational thank you!
    I paid my last loan payment of my small loan this month and am determined to get as much of my debt done ASAP. Dd is off to uni so I’ll lose that little buffer of tax credit and child benefit then, this will make things a bit tighter so as soon as I get this debt done the better. My bigger loan finishes in January too.

  • Hello, I'm new here but super excited for this challenge.
    I’ve had an epiphany and realised that I shouldn’t be trying to rebuild savings whilst we have a loan with interest accumulating on it so I’ve been brave and used what little was in the emergency fund to overpay the loan. I’ve also locked the credit card away so it will only be used in emergencies. I’ve still got £300 in savings but I’ve got a poorly dog and think I’ll need it when the insurance reaches its limit. :(

    I was hoping to pay off more this month but it's a start.
