Another couple of overpayments over the last week so total now stands at;
#120 - £6,380 / £7,500 - 85%
confident of reaching this years target, time to start doing the maths for next year

hello Bizzy
I only have 2 credit cards however I am paying interest on both 24% and 28%
I moved less than a year ago and find that trying to find the 0% cards are limited and I also find the small print overwhelming. I am having a chat with one of my cards this weekend as - when I make the additional payments its seems to change my dd from the minimum payment to a fixed amount - so I end up making nearly a double minimum payment by default. I am trying to snowball the smaller amount one 2200 so I can just focus on the last one which I owe just over 5k I have done well to pay off over 4k already despite losing my job from the lockdown for 3 months and with another lock down pending I am reluctant to put my savings towards the debt as I may need it to pay my rent. I certainly dont want to be charging up my cc to pay my basic bills.
I am now trying to look to sell some things on ebay and market place to help reduce the debt dont mind getting rid of stuff I dont really use when I could be debt free sooner. My original projection would have had my debt free by late Oct....now I am struggling to hit Christmas - I really want to achieve this and dont mind going without if I can start 2021 debt free

You are doing really well. 2 cards are great I had about 6 when I started out. Don't worry if you don't hit your target for xmas. Muppet's will start this again at the end of December for 2021 (I believe).
I understand holding onto monies because of covid and job security.
God luck with the debt busting!

HelloSo, been an up and down month. End of two 0% card deals so moved two cards onto a new 0% deal - but obviously that has added the transfer fees to the debt
Then the boiler broke and cost £500 (had to get help with that
) and there has been vet bills too
But, whilst my progress has actually gone backwards (mostly because payment hasn't yet gone out on the new card), I still feel in control, and that is the main thing! So:#34 £1215/£2750
EF #313: £5000/£1000, 3-6 Month EFC #50 £5000/£5000 PAYDBX 2021 #34: £7326/£7326
cc1 £0, cc2 £0, cc3 £02
