Free cavity wall insulation check - are they still available?

Hi
A few years back I had a couple of companies come to check if I had cavity wall insulation... They drilled a hole in the wall and used their gadgetry to take a look.
I've moved since then and was hoping to do the same in this house. I've contacted a couple of local companies. One doesn't do it at all, and the other charges £150 for a survey! I spent a bit more time looking into it now and it seems the rage these days is to have the insulation removed rather than fitted
The times they are a-changin'.
As this stage I just want to know what - if anything - is there. Are there still companies around who will check for free?
I'm in Wales in case that makes any difference.
Many thanks

Thanks Gerry but I'm looking for advice on how to find companies that will do a check for free. I can't check it myself for reasons I won't bore you or anyone else with.
Also, that thread is a bit on the old side!0 -
The bits that don't tell me how to get or who can do a survey for free.0
