  • The code of which they speak is the one that TC used to give you the discount.
The code would be null and void immediately TC ceased trading, presumably ?

Or am I missing something ?

The code used would have been DIS which is Thomas Cooks code for giving a discount off any holiday, it was their internal code. The amount given to you off the holiday would probably have been the difference between the Tui shop price and their Tui internet price, so they could offer you some discount if they wanted to, they're seeing what they can get away with i think. Definitely contact ABTA to push for a refund if they won't give you anything off.
