Hi
On the 06/09/19 My wife and I were booked through TUI to fly out to Mallorca on air Europa flight. We were delayed in excess of three hours waiting for the plane to arrive in the uk. We and other passengers were allocated 5 pound meal vouchers for the inconvenience however we have decided to attempt to claim for the delay. We contacted Tui and they pushed the complaint back saying that the fault was with the airline. Therefore I have attempted to use the Resolver site to complain to Air Europe. They have responded but saying they won't compensate due to the flight undergoing additional maintenance during a previous stopover, therefore this being an extraordinary circumstance they won't be compensating.
can anyone please give me any advise as to what I should do to push this claim on successfully.
Regards Dizzydiver

Hi dizy and welcome.
If you haven't already done so, download the mot excellent guide from Vauban.
Large cup of tea and a mince pie to read..
You will realise that maintenance on a plane is a tech issue, therefore not an EC.
How to continue will be in Vauban's guide. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
