Unfortunately I let my garden go a bit wild, so now I have four foot docks and bindweed taking over (that has to be the most evil weed ever) - bought some roundup at the weekend, wish I'd know about the sodium chlorate then.

Any advice for cleaning up a drive after the weeds are dead?

I was thinking that a pressure washer might be the best thing to get rid of the dead weeds, moss etc. Even after they're long expired they need some encouragement to disappear. I tried scraping with a spade but it hurts my ears and will take until next summer to finish..
  • I read Vinegar is good, just trying it now on a weed.

Supposedly the high acidity kills weeds. It's cheap, fairly benign to the environment, but smells like... well, vinegar.
