Shoddy boiler installation

If the expansion vessel is the issue and you genuinely cannot get to it due to how its been installed, another option would be to fit another one external to the boiler. Not the prettiest of solutions perhaps but is cheap!

So I did not need to top up the pressure this morning, It looked like it was near zero but after being turned on the pressure went up to about 1.5 and stayed there throughout the day. Previously, I would top it up every day and it will shoot up to 3 or more. Will see how it is tomorrow morning and send the plumber another thanks.

This is what is getting me quite annoyed now. The first guy didn't even diagnose what the issue was. He came in, moaned about the condition and said he'll give me a quote on a fix. Gave me a quote then called to say he wasn't comfortable fixing it. Second guy is saying I need a new boiler from pictures he can't get behind it to fix the pressure issue and taking it down will be too labour intensive.

We'll see what this third guy tomorrow is like.

I had a boiler person out and he said that I needed a new boiler straight away lol
