Make viewing MSE easier on a phone?

Is it possible to view the forums on a mobile phone easier without having to keep scrolling left and right to read threads. I don't want to use my phone on landscape mode. I have a Huawei P30 Pro.

Careful what you wish for... another forum I use has gone all fancy and rendered viewing on a phone all but impossible.

Turn your phone sideways and view as landscape, how difficult is that? I’m using a small iPhone SE and it works fine for me.

I just use the desktop view of the site and zoom out so the thread width fits the width of the screen.

Digital Spy forums have mobile version which works very well.
This site does have a mobile version in settings but it is awful as you can not zoom in so it can be very hard to read.

I think it might depend on which browser is used on your phone. I currently use Cliqz browser for MSE forum and never have a problem viewing or quoting etc.

I've the p20 pro and have no problems, it all fits the screen nicely.

You haven't expanded the viewing area if you have it set to mobile view have you? Or are you doing it as desktop and expanding it to actually be able to read it? I only do desktop view to quote posts and quickly get back out of it again.

I've been using the MSE mobile version since it came out, pretty sure it's a couple of years ago now with a previous update but mobile version fits my screen fine.

Just quoting you as you mention going to desktop version to quote. When using mobile version if you rotate round to landscape all the options are there to quote etc on mobile version. I just go to landscape to quote and edit.
