Clutch/DMF and gearbox oil question

Pump bearings. There's more load on the pump as you turn the wheel, and you turn it more at low speed.
If it is gearbox, then it's probably too late to just change the oil...0 -
Ahh OK thanks AdrianC, makes sense. I think i was hoping to change the gbox oil myself and sort it rather than pay for a new PS pump to be fitted (a bit out of my comfort zone)
Will look into what sort of job it is and time to change the pump.... Part of the downside of running an older car I guess (so far this year had a new alternator, camebelt change and 2 years back the clutch and DMF)0 -
Well, some fresh oil never hurt any gearbox...0
